3D coming to games?

For many years now making films in 3D was not a good thing people was simply not interested with the paper glasses with the red and blue lenses and sitting down watching a film in those, but years have gone past technology has got better 3D films have got better the cinemas today have got this latest 3D technology and are showing films in 3D such as Journey to the centre of the earth and my bloody valentine from these films people expectations for 3D have risen and some more films are being made into 3D as well such as Bolt 3D, Avartar 3D and Final Destination 4: Death Trip 3D.

So there’s no wonder why other companies have decided to bring 3D into different areas, some indie game developers have already started making some small 3D games to try out even companies like blitz games is talking about releasing 3D games and hopefully games like Metal Gear Solid or Mortal Kombat might come out in 3D.

Not only is it coming to games but Sky has been demonstrating at shows about 3D broadcasting but have not confirmed of making it actually happening, but were hoping in the next few years it will and we’ll be getting to watch programmes in 3D.

The future might be bright for 3D technology to start taking off so let’s wait and see and keep an eye or two out on the website if we hear anything we’ll post it.
