Ali vs Tyson ! Fight Night Round 4 Review.

Fight night round four is the new title that changes the way in which you used to fight compared to the original fight night titles. Featuring over 48 licensed fighters you are spoilt for choice in terms of whom you want to take on in the ring or who you want to be when you step in the ring.
Graphically the game is stunning, the character details are awe inspiring to look at and are just amazing to watch as each punch landed ripples the skin and nocks the sweat flying off them. Each fighter has been carefully detailed so they look as close and realistic as possible, and lets face it that’s a good thing because you wouldn’t be able to land a right hook on Tyson in real life and get away with it like you can in the game.

The audio that accompanies the visuals are just as good, with blow by blow audio which moves you in your chair and think ouch I felt that. The sound really does immerse you in the game play which makes you more aware and trying not to get the stuffing knocked out of you.
Controls wise this game handles really well but is tricky to get used to at first but thankfully there’s a tutorial that introduces you with the controls and teaches you all you need to know before going in to the ring for the first time and not knowing what to do.

Fight night round four also has the option to choose a game mode, instead of the standard single player it has the single and the online multi player mode which gets a lot tougher than single player due to fighting against real people and not computer controlled players who learn your moves but the real players in online mode no more moves than you and have there on strengths which could be much stronger than yours or much weaker, unlike the single player where you kind of know who’s going to be a hand full and who’s going to be easy in a fight.
As well as different game play modes there’s also a create your own fighter mode where you get the chance to create a fighter that looks similar to you in real life, but if you cant be bothered to tweak the facial features that much in order to look like you, you could just use the facial mapping option that’s at hand in the create a fighter area which allows you to take a photo of your face and upload it to the game and map it on to your fighter so there is a perfect resemblance to you.

Overall this is a really good fighting game with some superb graphics and some epic knock outs, this is going to be one of the fight games of the year due to EA always bringing out so first class sports games, fight night round four will be leaving a impression on you for a while once you get in to the gloves and start slugging it out with the big names in boxing.
