Amazing! No More Heros 2 : Desperate Struggle Review

No more heroes 2: Desperate struggle is the new and awesome new game from Rising Star Games.

Rising Star Games have delivered a new and brilliant title which ahs to be one of the best games that I have played in a long time. Playing as Travis touchdown, a slick looking assassin with a beam katana with a  no mercy style attitude, who has returned from the bloody ranking battles of the previous game to come back and give another round of arse kicking's to all who stand in his way through out the league and there henchmen. As well as playing as Travis there is also two more playable characters now in this second title unlike the first.

The object of the game for you, is to work your way through the rankings of the assassins which might sound straight forward enough and easy but think again, each different assassin is a different threat and has his own insane power or one of the assassins had his own robot which sees you battle through the city in giant robots which has a Godzilla feel to it which is very cool.

Not only do you fight and kill to progress through the ranks you also have to keep in shape and build your muscle and stamina in the gym and to do that you have to earn money by doing the side missions that are offered to you which are in the style of  retro games like off the Nintendo and commodore and are available to do when you want them, and also you have to feed your cat and make sure your cat don't get lazy and fat due to it just being  led in your room in your hotel, in your hotel room you can also watch the TV or play the built in video game which is a pretty neat touch, and for doing so you are rewarded with a different video each time you complete the game.

Also in the hotel room you have places like the toilet where you take some time to loose a load and relax and save your games progress which is rather amusing and no other game has ever done this, where you save your progress whilst going to the toilet, you also have in his bedroom the wardrobe where you can change your cloths which you unlock as you progress through the game, but its not just t-shirts and trousers you can change on your guy, you also get to change your jacket, shoes, sunglasses and wristbands so there's so much you can do its amazingly done and a brilliant gaming experience.

The graphics are done so they look partly cell shaded but are pretty brilliant and make the gore and violence the best they can be and makes the victory over your enemy's that more satisfying, its all very awe inspiring and the graphics will be noticed when you first have your meeting with Silvia who's outfit leaves not very much to the imagination. With brilliant lighting effects and real nice shadow details this game is brilliant to play and really enjoyable and put the wind up you when you are in a dark and creepy area with some audio that will also immerse you in to the feel and atmosphere of the twisted world.

No more heroes handles really well controls wise and is really easy to pick up and have the controls sorted in next to no time, also saying this every time there is a difference in controls you are always notified and given onscreen instructions on how they work etc.

But overall this game is amazing, its everything it should be and more. After only 5 minutes of playing this title I was blown away and just grinning like a Cheshire cat and was loving every minute of the violence and the gore and the innuendos that were throw at you in the best way ever which had me laughing my arse off. This game is well worth buying on the wii.
