I Wanna Dance! Samba De Amigo Review

Sega have been sneaking about in the games graveyard  to disturb the grave of the Sega Dreamcast and dug up samba de amigo which was one of the consoles popular titles.

Samba de amigo has been given a loving touch and cleaned right up both graphically and game play wise and injected with a whole host of new tunes and has also been given what is now classed as a formality which is the graphics being boosted when displayed on a H.D lcd TV unlike most Wii games when pumped through the cables.

The base line of the story sees you take the role of a maraca shaking monkey called Samba who has some impressive moves for a monkey, who teams up with his sister after her brief visit to his house and gets him to team up with her to go on an exclusive world tour filled with music and colourful parties.

Sega have taken full advantage of the Wii’s motion wiimotes or if you choose to be different then you can pick up a set of maraca wiimotes. The colours in this game are truly vibrant and get you smiling and in the party mood which is great if you have people around for a night in.

With loads of songs to choose from old and new there is never a dull moment that will see you wanting to take this game back to the shop any time soon. And the choice of purchasing more songs from the online store for a good price this game is brilliant.

The game modes include career, training, single player and multiplayer. The single player is made up of four modes with a choice to play a load of fun little mini games on your own or you could choose this option in multiplayer also. With online play it enables you to shake your stuff at people from across the globe which really steps up the competion of seeing who can out do each other.

But all in all this is a really well done conversion from  one console to another with seamless results and will have you fixed for hours pulling funny stances and working your wrists like you never have before.
