This Is The Way Of Life!

We were lucky enough to get a chance to have a hands on play and exclusive first look of the Sims 3.

We wandered over without any hesitation to a lonely PC in the corner of the room which had the Create-A-Sim open so we sat down grabbed the mouse and keyboard then  we was oooooing over the new layout of the menus, tabs and the improved detail to the Sims. The depth of what you can achieve in the Create-A-Sim is simply amazing you can basically customise anything from your body, face, facial hair and you can customise the style of clothes or houses whether it is the colours or patterns of tops, shoes, walls or even the refrigerator.

But what got our attention the most was a new feature to the game where you can give your Sims their own Personalities where you can make each of your Sims unique by giving them up to 5 different traits which could be a pizza lover, vegetarian to a couch potato or a hopeless romantic but there are around 80 different traits to choose from so you get to have a wide range of choices for your Sims after assigning them their traits you get to choose their lifetime wish where you can choose whether to be a world leader, world renowned surgeon or a gold digger or even a creature robot cross breeder it’s your choice really what to do you can either fulfil their lifetime wish or not but if you do choose to fulfil their wish you will be rewarded with lifetime points which can be spent on perks.

We started to create a grumpy looking old man which was named Todd and we gave him these traits daredevil, clumsy, romantic, over-emotional and a kleptomaniac and a lifetime wish to be a expert thief it was funny watching him all nice to this lady being all romantic and all of a sudden running around like a complete maniac crying and wanting to steal things.

The size and scale of the new map is purely amazing as well due to its sheer size, add-ons like the various packs that was bought out for previous Sims titles wont be really needed for a very long time with Sims 3  which saves you money and lets you get some what half way or even more before a add-on is bought out.

Also the community around you is fully interactive with each person having there own minds and there own lives and control them self’s and do what they want so always plenty of people to meet and to hang out with or to date or just to have your way with and move on, it really is a ground breaking follow on from Sims 2 and will reshape the way the creator games are done.
