Respect The Family! The Godfather 2 Review

The Godfather 2 the video game is based on the 1974 crime drama directed by Francis Ford Coppola, published by EA games The Godfather 2 isn’t taking any crap from anyone, show respect to the family.
The Godfather 2 begins in Havana, Cuba, 4 years after Aldo Trapani is made Don of New York City, Dominic a fellow soldier in the Corleone family is the mobster who you play as and he is given the responsibility of becoming the Don and running New York City after a party ends abruptly.

The gameplay contains some elements of that of the first game, but also throws in a whole lot more, with the easy use of controls it’s nice to play for ages engaging in various gun fights or car chases with the police or hand to hand combat with the enemy mobsters.
The new feature which is called "Black Hand 2.0" is a new control scheme that allows you to grab the enemy and kick them or knee them whilst in your grasp, it also allows you to use the lock on targeting or free aim to inflict various damage to each body part or take them down so you can perform a execution move which varies in style according to which weapon you are using at the time.

The game handles really well though for the type of game that it is with basically the same controls as GTA IV, the controls are a lot easier to get in to and enjoy and flow really well along side of the gameplay.
Graphically the game is nice and smooth especially in the dons view which lets you view the city in awesome 3d map view which is impressive, but does have its glitches but nothing that will make you put the controller down and thinks not to play it again. With cut scenes that are nice and a pleasure to watch this is one of the good gangster games, ok it’s not GTA 4 but then it’s in a class of its own with its perfect look at the world of the mafia according to the Godfather, a game that’s yours for you to judge and to play however you see fit.
