Its Behind You! F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin Review
This dark and action packed shooter guarantees to get your pulse going.
Following on closely from F.E.A.R. one, sees you opening the game with your main guy Michael Becket having a dream like hallucination in which he sees Alma walking along a ruined city, which he then finds out that its under attack by a black ops team of mercenaries deployed by Armacham’s board of directors, aside from that you start to uncover hints of a project called Harbinger then gets swept of his feet by a huge explosion then things take a turn for the worst and sees you setting out on a tough mission with four others of members of your team.

The game controls really well which is due to its change in control layout unlike standard shooters which all have the same button defaults, so its good to pick up a controller and have a change of layout. Scenes some times see you needing to repeatedly tap a certain button on your controller in order to evade the danger or to execute a various move or to perform a close up kill. Also added in to the controls is the option to cook grenades before throwing which ok most over games do but in this it gives you a indicator for when the grenade is almost about to blow and you don’t see that in most other games because you always end up blowing your self up.
Graphically this game is just pure awesome for its graphics, with all the details thought about from the blood spraying over your screen when you blow a hole in a enemy that is a tad to close, or the bullet casings hitting the floor or shards of glass breaking off as a bullet strikes through a pain of glass and with a HD h.u.d you can’t really go wrong with your HD gaming experience.

The lighting effects add to such a nice graphically run game, which is essential due to it adding to the mood and atmosphere of the games its self which allows you to be immersed in to more or the darker and creepier and the more action side of the game, which is one of the most enjoyable parts of a game of this type as well as a really movie like story line which really involves you.
The audio is a important factor of this game as well due to you needing to use the audio to your advantage like if the enemy see your flash light they will shout to others that they think they just seen something which will give you time to hide, where as if you didn’t have such a good base of audio you wouldn’t no if you had been spotted or not and would just end up getting blow away by a group of enemies, so keep your speakers on and you will get and intense feeling of really trying to survive in a battle situation and if you keep your speakers high and your room dark you will also get a chill up your spine when you here ghostly calls and suddenly get pounced on by Alma and it really makes you jump if you don’t expect it.

Overall F.E.A.R. 2 is a good shooter game and has a brilliant story line and a cracking ending so if you played the first game and want to no more about the story line then you should purchase this game for sure. All will be revealed.
