A Sparkle Of Magic! Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince Review

The next instalment of the magical journey that is known as harry potter is here and raring to go on all formats with that special sparkle of magic.

This instalment of Harry potter is the half blood prince, and follows the same story as the new movie which is based on the novel by J.K Rowling.

The controls to the game are really simple to use especially on the wii version of the game where you do most of the controls just via movements instead of the usual button presses, the good thing about the wii controls as well is the fun of mixing the potions task that you will have to carry out which you get to use through out the game once you have mixed them up successfully.

The graphics are nicely done on the 360 and on the ps3 and surprisingly pretty well done on the wii which is unusual due to the wii only usually having vibrant and child like colours for its younger audiences.

All the characters from the film are in the game and have had there voices done by sound a-likes with likenesses provided by the original cast themselves. the faces of the film is a good mood setter for the feel of the game and gives you a more immersive game play experience especially for the younger people playing this game.

There are three playable characters but that’s no loss really due to the game having the fun side which you don’t mind then being not able to play as many people, you can play as Harry, Ron Weasley and Ginny Weasley.

Over all it’s a fun and enjoyable game , ok some parts of the game are difficult to do when your playing on the wii but it just takes a little practice and you will have control of it in no time.
