Taken Down A Peg! Peggle Review

Sony and pop cap games dropped the highly addictive bejeweled on you and now they have gone and dropped Peggle on to you, their new and very highly addictive arcade game to hit the Playstation network.
Peggle the new and shiny looking puzzle arcade game to grace the Playstation network, the full Hi-Def view is pretty awe inspiring and makes the experience that much better.

Each level is represented by one its own character, the Peggle Master, and divided into smaller levels that increase by difficulty. In the “Adventure”-Mode there are 55 levels all together.
The aim of the game is to hit all of the orange “fragments”, called pegs, with the given number of balls. The more blue pegs you hit while doing so the higher gets your score. You will also get extra points for every ball left at the end of each level.
To make Peggle even more fun each Peggle Master has new and very helpful powers. The power pegs are always green and purple. The green pegs are randomly selected and their power strikes mostly immediately after they have been hit. The pink pegs move around after every ball. You'll be surprised to see how many points one little hit can bring you.

To increase the difficulty and fun there will be moving pegs on several levels.
In order for you to have fun with your friends there is an additional Multiplayer mode to the Adventure mode, which you can only play by yourself. In the Multiplayer mode you get to replay all of the levels of the Adventure-Mode and each of you get to choose your own Peggle Master. Doing so, the pegs will react with the power of your Peggle Master when you hit them no matter which Peggle Master the second player chooses.

You will however only be able to play the Multiplayer levels that you have unlocked by finishing them successfully in the Adventure-Mode.
So overall this is definatly a highly addictive and well worth buying game and we give this a 9/10 Gamersathome score.
