Run Like The Wind! Summer Athletics Review.

So it’s raining out side? No surprise really, Ah well never mind it’s always sunny on Summer Athletics.

Developed by 49Games and published by DTP, Summer Athletics is packed with 26 of the most popular sporting disciplines that are brought right in to your living room. With crystal clear audio quality and stunning visuals.

Entering through its main menu, that is boasting big and very easy to use icons (unlike most of the games these days) and with its bright and vivid cartoon style colours it really stands out from the other sports games of today.

You get to choose which athlete you want to use out of a large selection of male and female athletes and get to unlock more as you play career mode. Or if your feeling creative you could always create one to look like your self, With customisable features such as hair and facial features even including how far apart your eyes are or what angle they are at, No detail goes untouched.

Get pumped and get warmed up, Because after you have selected a game mode from arcade or simulation you get taken Straight in to the loading screen and not a long a boring load time either which was a rather pleasant surprise. Due to some games these days having long and boring load times.

You get a Brief instruction on the controls and how to play the game type that you have chosen, and then I it’s away you go working those arms and wrists like you never have before and trust me it will make you sweat and will definitely tone your arms up if playing long enough  each day.

But the good thing which is also a benefit is the big open and clear screen not ram packed with h.u.d or any other unwanted icons etc. Just the basics of what you need to know and the controls indicator saying what to press and when to press which saves a lot of trouble.

To some this game up in two words they would have to be tuff and enduring. It requires you to use a lot of energy, Just the same as any other Wii game. But this game adds just that little extra physical work which really gets you especially the running or the bike races.

So overall this is a game worth buying if you want to have some friends over or even just on your own in either game modes depending on your mood at the time. So go out to your local games shop and pick your self a copy of this game up today or if you’re feeling in the spirit of things you could run to your local games shop which ever you choose you will have fun and laughs with this game guaranteed.
